Melinda’s call for The Harvest is that it would be a church that remembers its connection to the community and the greater United Methodist Church.  She also wants the church to be a place where people feel safe to ask questions about God, a place where they feel at home, and a place where children want to go. Melinda believes that the Church should have a sense of urgency about sharing God's love with others.

Mandy Kisiel - Children's Ministry

Mandy is in charge of the children's ministry for The Harvest.  Mandy believes that children are precious to our Lord Father and that we as a church should love on our children as God cares for children.

Upon graduating Texas A&M in 1992 with a degree in Special Education, Mandy embarked on an adventure in the United States Army as a military wife.  Mandy and her husband James traveled the East coast moving at least 8 times in 7 years. After having two precious girls, they joined in the Children’s Ministry at each church location in which they moved. In the year 2000, they came to Texas and settled down in Magnolia.  Mandy began to work with Children’s Worship and by 2003 joined the staff of their local church as Children’s Worship Director.  Her family enjoyed several years serving the children and planning many fun hours filled with Bible truths, puppets, music, and lots of prayer.

In year 2006, Mandy and James moved to beautiful Sienna Plantation and directly began their journey with The Harvest United Methodist Church.  Mandy shares that "It has been a blessing to our family to worship our Lord Jesus with a wonderful group of people and we look forward to many years to come sharing His love in our community."
