Our Community

The Care Team is a group of Harvest members who share a passion for showing care and compassion to others who are either experiencing difficult situations or adjusting to new babies in their lives. It is our desire to be a reflection of our loving God by loving and serving those in need in any way we can. By bringing meals to those in need, volunteers of the meals ministries are acting as the hands and feet of Christ serving God's family. Contact Carrie Conlon to get involved with the care team.

Grief Share

If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. For more information, please contact Lauren Travers.

In partnership with the Literacy Council of Fort Bend County, our English as Second Language (ESL) School focuses on teaching English to parents and adult family members of students at Heritage Rose Elementary and Baines Middle School. Our school’s mission is to equip the parents with the language skills needed to be involved in their children’s education and school life. This is critical to every child’s literacy and learning progress. Anyone desiring to make a difference in the lives of our community’s families and children can become an ESL teacher. We provide all the training, materials, and equipment that you’ll need. Please contact Ginny Douglas if you’re interested in becoming a part of our ESL school or would like more information.
