Bible Studies for Women
Daytime:
Wednesdays @ 9:30 am: Revelation: Beth Moore Study
In 11 sessions, Beth Moore presents many points of view on the Book of Revelation, allowing women to decide for themselves when the interpretation varies among scholars.
Wednesdays @ 9:30 am: Esther: Beth Moore Study
This is an in-depth and examination of the great story of threat and deliverance in the Book of Esther. It shows how very contemporary and applicable the story of Esther is to our lives. If you have ever felt inadequate, threatened, or pushed into situations that seemed overpowering, this is the study for you.
Fridays @ 9:30 am: The Magnificent Obsession
Are you seeking your life's purpose? What's most important to you? Family, career, talent, possessions? In this study, Anne Graham Lotz shares from her journey and draws inspiration from the life of Abraham. He was the father of nations, and credited as a "friend of God", yet struggled as we all do. In the same way Anne Graham Lotz has sought to follow God despite her shortcomings.
Evening:
Wednesdays @ 7:00 pm: No Other Gods: Confronting our Modern-Day Idols
This study encourages women to make room for God by dethroning the functional gods that clutter and claim their lives. We will look at how our normal passions and longings can turn from being healthy into sources of idolatry, that compete with God's rightful place in our lives.
Tuesdays @ 9:00 am
We meet informally and pray about everything from personal needs, family concerns, community, government, church, current events, schools etc. Prayer is a powerful way to lift up yourself and others, knowing God has heard our needs. Remember the bible says in Matthew 18:20 "For where two or more come together there am I with them." This is a group where you are welcome to come and go as you please.
